At Momentum, we believe every surfer arrives with a different goal, a different level, and a different relationship with the ocean. Some come to catch their first waves and build confidence. Others want to improve their technique, understand surfing fundamentals, and take their progression to the next level. That’s why we created a 3-day surf retreat designed around learning, progression, and connection. Over three days, you’ll experience: - 2 surf sessions per day guided by experienced coaches - theoretical lessons to understand ocean conditions, technique, and surf fundamentals - daily follow-ups to track your progression and adapt coaching to your needs - small group sessions focused on personalised feedback and improvement - authentic moments to connect with the ocean and Moroccan surf culture Each day is carefully structured to combine practice, knowledge, and experience. From your first paddle-out in the morning to reviewing your progress after each session, every moment is designed to help you become a more confident and independent surfer. Whether you are a beginner discovering surfing for the first time or an intermediate surfer looking to improve your skills, this retreat gives you the right environment to learn, progress, and enjoy the journey. Momentum Surf Experience
I first stood on a surfboard as a kid on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. From that moment, surfing became much more than a sport. It became a way of life. It has taken me across the world, from the endless point breaks of Morocco to the remote reefs of Indonesia, and from coaching in renowned surf camps to leading programs in one of the world’s most advanced wave pools. For nearly a decade, I have dedicated my life to helping people progress in surfing. As an ISA certified surf coach, I have learned that the greatest transformations do not come from simply catching more waves. They come from stepping outside your comfort zone, building confidence, embracing new challenges, and creating memories that stay with you long after the journey ends. That belief became Momentum Surf Experience. Momentum is not just a surf retreat. It is a philosophy. The idea was born from a simple realization. Too many surf holidays follow the same formula. The same accommodation, the same surf spots, the same routine, repeated over and over again. While there is nothing wrong with that, I wanted to create something that truly reflects the soul of Morocco. A country of incredible diversity, breathtaking landscapes, rich traditions, warm hospitality, and endless adventure. Momentum was created to offer something different. Every retreat is carefully designed to combine exceptional surf coaching with authentic cultural experiences, hidden locations, unforgettable adventures, and meaningful human connection. From exploring vibrant souks and ancient kasbahs to discovering uncrowded point breaks, sharing traditional Moroccan cuisine, and watching the sunset from places few travelers ever reach, every day is crafted to help you experience the true essence of Morocco.
