What is Moramara Care?

Moramara Care is the support included with every booking on Moramara. Our local team helps you before, during and after your trip, by WhatsApp, phone, email or in-app messages. We're available 24/7, in English, French and Arabic.

How do you choose your partners?

No partner is listed on Moramara until a committee of locals has checked it: an in-person visit, licences, insurance and instructor certifications, recent reviews and local reputation. Partners who stop meeting the standard are removed.

Can you help me choose a surf camp?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tell us your level, budget, dates and travel style and we recommend the right camp. We can also build a custom trip with lessons, activities and transfers, and negotiate better prices or extras with our partners when possible.

How do I pay for my booking?

Accepted Answer

When you send a request, you pay a 10% deposit online with PayPal (PayPal account or card). It is only charged if the host confirms within 3 days; otherwise the hold is released. Requests can be sent up to 48 hours before a surf camp starts and up to 3 hours before an activity. You pay the rest directly to the host on arrival, in cash (EUR or MAD) or by bank transfer depending on the host. The details are in your booking.

How do I cancel or modify a booking?

Cancel for free up to 24 hours before an activity and up to 7 days before a package starts: our team refunds your deposit in full and emails you once it is done. After that, the deposit is not refunded. While the host hasn't replied, you can withdraw your request for free. Cancel from My Bookings: before you confirm, you see what happens to your deposit and tell us why you are cancelling. You can also write to support@moramara.com.

What if something goes wrong during my trip?

Contact us straight away by WhatsApp or phone, or write to us from the last section of your booking page. We talk to your host and resolve it with them. If needed, we move you to another trusted partner nearby, and our team is based in the surf region so someone can come on site.

What happens if a partner cancels my booking?

Our team refunds your deposit in full. We help you find an equivalent alternative with another trusted partner in our network.

How are refunds and disputes handled?

Accepted Answer

Deposit refunds under the cancellation policy are made by our team, back to the PayPal account or card you paid with. If something goes wrong during or after your trip, write to us from the last section of your booking page: we mediate with the partner on your behalf until a fair solution is found.

Question 9

When will I receive my booking confirmation?

Accepted Answer

Hosts usually reply in under 12 hours and have 3 days at most to confirm (less for last-minute requests: the deadline is shown at checkout). You receive a confirmation email as soon as your booking is accepted, by the host or by our team on their behalf. If you don't see it, check your spam folder. You can also follow your request under My Bookings.

Question 10

How do I leave a review?

Your booking is marked as completed one day after your activity starts, or the day after your check-out day for a surf camp. You then receive an email invitation to leave a review, and can also leave one from the booking detail page in My Bookings.
