Morocco combines reliable Atlantic surf, a mild climate and short flights from Europe, and a surf camp puts everything you need into one booking, so your trip is about surfing rather than logistics.
Sandy beach breaks for first lessons, long point breaks for improvers and powerful point and reef waves for experienced surfers, all within a short drive of each other along the coast north of Agadir.
The most consistent swells arrive from October to April, while smaller summer waves suit beginners. The water stays around 17-22°C, so a 3/2mm wetsuit is enough for most of the year.
Camps typically bundle accommodation, daily lessons or guiding, board and wetsuit rental and some meals, and many include airport transfers. Each camp's page shows exactly what's included.
Agadir Al Massira Airport has direct flights from many European cities, and the main surf towns are between 25 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes away by road.
Surf camps on Moramara currently start from €230 per person. The final price depends on the length of your stay, the room you choose, the season and what's included, such as meals, coaching or airport transfers. Each camp shows its price per person before you book.
Taghazout is the best-known surf town, with famous point breaks and a lively atmosphere for all levels. Tamraght and Aourir are quieter villages close by, with beginner-friendly beach breaks. Imsouane, further north, is known for the Bay, a long, gentle wave that is one of the most forgiving in Morocco and popular with beginners and longboarders.
October to April brings the most consistent Atlantic swells and the best conditions at the point breaks. From June to September the waves are smaller and gentler, which suits complete beginners. You can surf all year, and the water stays around 17-22°C.
Five to seven days is a good length for most people: enough sessions to see real progress as a beginner, or to surf several different spots if you already ride green waves. Use the When filter to set the number of days you have.
Use the Surf level filter to show camps for beginner, intermediate or advanced surfers. Beginner camps focus on lessons in the whitewater, while camps for experienced surfers offer guiding to the best spot for the day's swell and sometimes video analysis.
Look at what the price includes (lessons or guiding, equipment, meals, airport transfers), the type of room, the maximum group size and the surf levels the camp caters for. Each camp's page lists what's included, its room options and reviews from previous guests where available.
Open a camp to see its room options, what is included and any extras, choose your dates and number of guests, then continue to checkout. You can also message the host from the camp page if you have questions before booking.
