Surf camp at Taghazout Hill Retreat, a quiet hillside stay above Taghazout, Morocco, for beginner and intermediate surfers. You sleep in premium villa-style apartments with a roof terrace and ocean and sunset views, then spend your days in the water with local surf instructors. The retreat is in Ait Bihi village, about 4 km from the centre of Taghazout. It has six villa-style apartments, each with a fully equipped kitchen, a bright living space and a terrace with ocean views. The setting is calm and safe, and close to the beaches, surf spots, cafés and restaurants of Taghazout. Surf lessons run on most days, with double sessions on selected days, plus a full-day surf trip to Imsouane, one of the most iconic point breaks in Morocco. Surf video analysis and a photo package let you see your progress. Breakfast, beach lunches and dinners prepared by local chefs are included, with two evenings left free to explore Taghazout. Airport transfers from Agadir and transport to the surf spots are covered, along with the Taghazout skatepark, the Agadir souk, a day of desert sandboarding and one yoga session. Flights, insurance and dinners on the two evenings out are not included. The camp suits solo travellers, couples and friends.

Breakfast at the villa
Start the day with a generous breakfast and coffee or mint tea, with the ocean in view.
Pick up your gear
Collect your board and wetsuit and travel to the surf spot with your instructors. Transport is included.
Wave check and warm-up
Check the conditions with your instructor, choose the best spot for your level and warm up on the sand.
Surf lesson
A coached session with local instructors, adapted to beginner and intermediate levels. On selected days there are two sessions.
Beach lunch
A fresh lunch prepared by local chefs, served by the ocean.
Relax or free time
Rest, read on the terrace, explore Taghazout or head back to the water.
Activity of the day
Excursion, sandboarding in the desert, a visit to the Agadir souk or the Taghazout skatepark: a different local experience each day.
Dinner prepared by local chefs
A shared dinner at the retreat, cooked by local chefs. Two evenings in the week are free for you to eat out.

You send a request (at least 48 hours before arrival) and pay a small deposit online. It's only charged if the host confirms, within 3 days. You pay the rest to the host on arrival.
Cancel more than 7 days before arrival: our team refunds your deposit in full. Cancel later, or don't show up: the deposit is not refunded. If the host cancels, your deposit is refunded in full. A request made less than 7 days before arrival is non-refundable once confirmed.
