Terms & Conditions

Moramara ("we", "us", "our") operates an online marketplace connecting travellers with surf camp packages and local surf-related activities across Morocco. We only list all-inclusive surf packages and individually bookable activities, offered directly by our partner surf camps and activity providers. By accessing or using our platform at moramara.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking on Moramara. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at support@moramara.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. You may also stop using the platform at any time, which will revoke Moramara's access to any Google account data associated with your account.

You may create an account using your Google Account via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0). By choosing this authentication method, you acknowledge that your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. Moramara only receives the basic profile information you authorise (name, email address, and profile picture) and does not access any other Google services on your behalf.

The experience (surf camp, lesson, activity) is sold by the partner; Moramara acts as intermediary. When you submit a booking request, you are making an offer to the partner. The booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from the partner or from Moramara on their behalf. Requests can be sent up to 48 hours before the arrival date for surf camps, and up to 3 hours before the start for activities. No account is needed before paying: Moramara creates one from the email address you give at checkout and sends you a sign-in link.

Booking deposit. To send a booking request, you pay a deposit to Moramara through PayPal: a percentage of the total price, shown at checkout. The deposit is Moramara's booking fee. It is first put on hold, not charged, and is only charged when the partner confirms your booking. The partner has up to 3 days to confirm (for a late request, until one day after the start at the latest). If the partner declines or has not answered in time, the hold is released automatically and nothing is charged.

Balance. The rest of the price is paid directly to the partner on arrival, with the payment methods the partner accepts. Moramara does not collect or hold this balance and is not a party to the payment between you and the partner.

Affiliate codes. A surf camp package booked with the code of a Moramara affiliate, or through their referral link, gets a discount of 5% of the price, up to €50. The discount comes off the price before the deposit is worked out, so the deposit and the balance paid on arrival are both lower. There is one discount per booking: it cannot be combined with a listing discount or a host deal, and you choose which one to use. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or kept for later, and does not apply to activities booked on their own. If the booking is cancelled, the discount ends with it, and any refund is based on the amount you actually paid. Affiliates may earn a commission from Moramara on bookings made with their code. They never receive your personal data.

Cancellations follow our Cancellation Policy. Its windows (7 days before arrival for surf camps, 24 hours before the start for activities) and the exact date that applies to your booking are shown at checkout.

Deposit refunds are made by Moramara. The deposit is refunded in full if the partner or Moramara cancels, or if you cancel within the free cancellation period of the Cancellation Policy. It is not refunded if you cancel after that period or do not show up. Refunds go back to the PayPal account or card you paid with.

When you cancel a confirmed booking, you are asked for a reason, which is shared with the partner.

A booking is marked as completed one day after the activity starts, or the day after the check-out day of a surf camp. During your trip and after it, you can raise a claim with Moramara from the last section of your booking page.

Refunds of the balance paid to the partner are handled by the partner. If you are unable to resolve a cancellation dispute with a partner, write to us from your booking page or contact us at support@moramara.com and we will do our best to assist.

Hosts who list experiences or accommodations on Moramara agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful listing information.
• Hold all required local licences and insurance.
• Answer booking requests before their deadline (3 days, or less for last-minute requests).
• Honour confirmed bookings. If a host cancels a confirmed booking, Moramara refunds the guest's deposit in full.
• Respond to guest messages within a reasonable time.
• Comply with all applicable Moroccan laws and regulations.

Moramara is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of the services offered by hosts. Disputes between guests and hosts should first be attempted to resolve directly; Moramara may assist as a neutral mediator.

As a guest, you agree to:

• Respect the host's property and rules.
• Arrive on time and notify the host promptly if you are delayed or cannot attend.
• Not engage in any unlawful, dangerous, or disrespectful behaviour.
• Only leave honest and fair reviews based on your actual experience.

Reviews submitted on Moramara must be honest, first-hand, and not defamatory. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our community guidelines or these terms. Hosts may not offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews.

All content on the Moramara platform - including logos, text, images, and software - is the property of Moramara or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

By uploading content (photos, descriptions, reviews) to Moramara, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and use that content in connection with the platform.

The Moramara platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moramara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or the services booked through it, including personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking that gave rise to the claim.

You may not use Moramara to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the platform.
• Create fake accounts or listings.
• Post spam, malware, or any harmful content.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Moramara after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
