Moramara Surf Camp Price Analysis 2026/27

Data checked 5 October 2026

How much should you expect to pay for a surf camp in Morocco? The answer depends on much more than accommodation alone. Surf lessons, guiding, meals, equipment, yoga, transfers and coaching can all change the final package price.

To make the comparison easier, Moramara analysed the surf packages currently listed on its marketplace across Taghazout, Tamraght, Imsouane and Aourir.

Quick answer

Among 16 comparable 7-day surf-stay packages currently listed on Moramara, the median starting price is €493 per person. Current prices range from approximately €405 to €819, depending on destination, accommodation, coaching and package inclusions.

How Much Does a Surf Camp in Morocco Cost?

Across the 16 comparable 7-day surf-stay packages analysed, the median current starting price is €493 per person.

The average is slightly higher at approximately €509 per person.

Because a small number of higher-priced packages can push the average upward, the median gives travellers a useful benchmark for what a typical package in the current Moramara inventory costs.

Price metric Current price Regular listed price
Median €493 €548
Average €509 €566
Lowest €405 €450
Highest €819 €910

These figures focus specifically on comparable week-long surf stays. One 3-day coaching product and one 7-day Stand Up Paddle package were excluded because they are not directly comparable with a conventional surf-camp week.

Surf Camp Prices in Morocco by Destination

The destination you choose can influence the total cost of your surf trip.

Moramara's current inventory shows different price levels across Tamraght, Aourir and Imsouane, although sample sizes remain relatively small and should be interpreted carefully.

Destination Packages analysed Median current price Current range
Tamraght 7 €449 €405–€540
Aourir 4 €484 €446–€527
Imsouane 4 €546 €495–€594
Taghazout 1 €819* €819

Important: only one comparable Taghazout package is currently available in this dataset. The €819 price should therefore not be interpreted as the typical or average cost of a Taghazout surf camp.

Surf Camp Prices in Tamraght

Tamraght currently has the largest selection in the comparable Moramara sample.

Its seven analysed packages have a median starting price of approximately €449 per person, with current prices ranging from €405 to €540.

Surf Camp Prices in Aourir

Across the four comparable Aourir packages analysed, the median current starting price is approximately €484 per person.

Current prices range from approximately €446 to €527.

Surf Camp Prices in Imsouane

Imsouane's four current packages have a median starting price of approximately €546 per person.

That is around 22% higher than the current Tamraght median, although package structure and inclusions vary considerably between operators.

What About Taghazout?

Taghazout is Morocco's best-known surf town, but the current Moramara dataset contains only one comparable Taghazout package.

The sample is therefore not large enough to establish a meaningful Taghazout price benchmark.

What Is Usually Included in a Morocco Surf Camp?

One of the biggest mistakes when comparing surf camp prices is looking only at the headline number.

Most packages listed on Moramara combine several parts of the trip into one booking rather than simply providing accommodation.

Common surf-camp inclusions

  • Accommodation
  • Surf lessons or surf guiding
  • Surfboard rental
  • Wetsuit rental
  • Daily transport to surf spots
  • Breakfast
  • Lunch and/or dinner on many packages
  • Free-surf sessions
  • Surf theory or video analysis on selected packages

Airport transfers vary more significantly. Some operators include airport or bus-station transfers, while others charge for them separately.

That is why a €450 package including accommodation, equipment, meals, coaching and surf transport can represent very different value from another €450 package with fewer inclusions.

Why Do Surf Camp Prices in Morocco Vary?

Accommodation

Shared rooms and dorm-style accommodation are usually more affordable than private rooms, ensuite rooms or higher-end accommodation.

Surf Coaching

Intensive coaching, smaller groups, personalised feedback and video analysis can make a package more expensive than a standard beginner lesson programme.

Meals

Some packages include breakfast only, while others include breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the stay.

Equipment

Board and wetsuit rental are common inclusions, although some experienced-surfer packages may be designed for guests travelling with their own equipment.

Transfers and Daily Transport

Transport to surf spots is commonly included, while airport transfers are more likely to vary by operator.

Additional Experiences

Yoga, Pilates, excursions, surfskate, photography and video analysis can all add value — and sometimes additional cost — to a package.

How Common Are Surf and Yoga Camps in Morocco?

Surf and yoga is already a visible category within the current Moramara inventory.

Four of the 18 active offers analysed explicitly combine surfing and yoga, representing approximately 22% of current listings.

Moramara also currently lists a dedicated surf-and-Pilates package, showing how camps are increasingly differentiating their stays through wellness and specialised experiences.

How Long Is a Typical Surf Camp in Morocco?

Seven days is by far the dominant format within the current Moramara inventory.

17 of 18 active offers are structured around a 7-day trip

A week gives travellers enough time for several surf sessions, progression, rest and additional activities while still fitting comfortably into a standard holiday.

How to Compare Surf Camps in Morocco

Price matters, but it should not be the only factor when choosing a camp.

Before booking, compare:

  • your surf level
  • number of lessons or guided sessions
  • group size
  • coaching versus guiding
  • accommodation type
  • meals included
  • board and wetsuit rental
  • airport transfers
  • cancellation policy
  • additional activities
  • destination and nearby surf spots

A beginner travelling alone may value structured lessons, shared meals and a social atmosphere, while an experienced surfer may care more about local guiding, smaller groups and access to the right break for the day's conditions.

Methodology

Moramara analysed 18 active surf-related offers available on its marketplace on 5 October 2026.

The inventory covered Taghazout, Tamraght, Aourir and Imsouane. Prices represent the lowest advertised per-person starting price displayed for each listing at the time of analysis.

Promotional prices were used where they were actively displayed. Regular listed prices were retained separately for comparison.

For the primary 7-day benchmark, one 3-day coaching product and one Stand Up Paddle product were excluded because they are not directly comparable with a conventional week-long surf stay.

The principal sample therefore contains 16 comparable 7-day packages.

Destination-level figures should always be interpreted alongside sample size. Taghazout currently contains only one comparable listing, so its displayed price is not treated as a representative market average.

This analysis reflects the inventory available on Moramara at the time of research and does not represent every surf camp operating in Morocco.

Moramara will update the analysis as marketplace inventory grows.
